At The Beginning With You...Junior Prom 2013

So how about we talk about the BEST prom ever.....
First I got asked....It was valentines day I was sick and just hanging out in Pajamas at home when...the door bell rang.. Dixon went and answered the door and know one was there... He saw a plate of heart cookies with my name on it and told me I not feeling good didn't really care and I just said grab it..he said no so I went and grabbed the cookies and brought them in set them on the counter and said cool a random plate of cookies with my name on it and then sat down.... After about 10 minutes dixon said the plate was sitting on snow balls and he could see something in them...At this point I was mad I had to go out in the cold and break what literally seemed like 50 snowballs to find squares of tinfoil in random snow balls after I got frost bight from digging through the snow I came in and opened the tinfoil and unscrambled the words to say I'd be a cold hearted fool if I didn't take you to prom...-Keaton Roberts... I couldn't have been happier to be going with a better person.. me and keaton had been friends for a long time and always have a good time together...

Then I had to answer back... I had all these great over the top ideas of how to answer him back it had been a couple of crazy weeks trying to get it organized to ask him and nothing was working out finally I realized boys don't care how you answer them just give them something they like and they will love it so I put my answer together in seriously 5 minutes...I knew that Keaton LOVED Mtn. Dew so I gave him 40 cans of moutain dew and a flash light with a sign that said YES!!! I'd be SODA-LIGHTED to go to prom with you.. and left it on his porch with the flash light shinning on the sign I wish I could have got a good picture of it... I had to laugh after I left Kim "his mom" sent me a picture of them watching me on their security cameras....I was just a LITTLE embarrassed...

Then next I had to find the perfect dress....
So you have to know I'm one who loves to stand out... I have dreamed of prom forever and the perfect dress I wanted...and of coarse it was one I had never even seen before.... I DID NOT want a POOFY dress... It had to be straight...Sparkly...Unique "nothing close to what anyone else would have"... and Long Sleeve...My poor mom I don't think she ever thought we would find a dress....Thank goodness we have an AMAZING sewing lady who works mighty miracle to take the dress I got and Make it my Dream Dress..!!! Thanks to Carlie for helping me put the 1000's of dresses over my head... here are a few pictures of ones I tried on....

"Wytten helped me decide none of these were the one"

THEN I FOUND IT....DREAM COME TRUE.... This is what it looked like when we bought it...It was straight, sparkly, WAY unique, JUST NEEDED THE LONG SLEEVES...

We visited our amazing seamstress 4 times to get it perfect she did an amazing job...I told her I wanted long sheer black sleeves and a high neck that was sparkly...She did exactly what I asked her even though it meant  building the whole top and she sewed the WHOLE top by hand... She wasn't able to make the neck sparkly though or it wouldn't of stretched to fit over my head... but weird enough something amazing worked out... We visited the amazing Vicki Rhodes who owns feather your nest to see if she had a sparkly choker...she didn't but together we decided to use a baby black sequin head band and use it as a necklace...we then thought it would look cute to put a sparkly necklace over that but she didn't have anything... so we told her we'd just keep looking....Well When we went to Wyoming when my grandpa died they cleaned his house and I got my Grandma Crofts Jewelry box and Jewelry... I decided to look in there to see if there was something that'd work...Weird enough when I opened it there sat the prettiest necklace...exact bluse of my dress and sparkled so much... I knew it was meant to be and was so cool to wear my Great Grandmas necklace to prom!!! The final Result of Dress will be below...

THE FINAL DAY!!!!

Day Date...
Our day date was so simple yet so FUN....We headed to Logan and did a scavenger hunt in the mall...Pretty funny to see the reactions people gave...We then ate a Paradise Bakery after that we headed home so we "girls" could get ready... BUT on the way out we stopped at the DI and wow never laughed so hard... Keaton and Chaz decided to do some thrift shopping... and can I say the military should watch out here come two boys in camo...!

Then it was time for the big night.... Promenade, pictures, more pictures, dinner, dance, and a movie.
I figured it was my day to get pampered so I asked the AMAZING Brennen walker to do my Hair & Make-up... She is Awesome Check out her amazing work Here... She did exactly what I wanted and made me feel awesome  Plus did I mention SHE came to me how awesome that was not having to run from place to place...sometimes it's nice to have a salon in your room...Thanks B<3

Then all the family came over to see me and take pictures before I left

Then I got picked up

Promenade...
So as you can see me and Kenzie wore blue, orange, and white bracelets instead of a sparkly bracelet that matched our dress.. people thought we were weird but we are Forever Doing it for Dylan...D4D always.

I didn't have any pictures from dinner or the dance... We went to Prairie Scooners for dinner it was yummy and fun to eat in a covered wagon!!! The dance was a blast lets just say we rocked the dance floor it was a so fun my favorite would have to be swing dancing not gonna line I'd go more often!

Some funny behind the scenes for prom...after we got my dress back from the seamstress I took it to sunday dinner to show the fam and after I modeled it tawnie and carlie put there dresses on then I modeled my grandmas wedding dress and we had so good laughs...(especially cutting the dress off of tawine)
