Temple Square

We were able to go to temple square with my family and adopted family the smarts.... there is never a dole moment when you are with these guys lots of laughs!  Ike was able to get a suburban to take so our family could all ride together.  Let's just say that people couldn't have stared harder at us on the freeway but it was fun riding all together even if it was still just a little squished.  We started our night off in bountiful and chili's to eat and had lots of good laugh at dinner and least me carlie and ike did everyone else couldn't figure out why we were laughing and crying so hard. "is that your baby? Ike:ya! how hold is he? Ike: 5 months sitting up on his own in a big chair feeding him self and eating soup:)" if only evryone could have been there when ike said this and understood why it was so funny!  After dinner we continued on to Salt Lake where we went to temple square and walked around to see the christmas lights then to city creek to walk around and watched the cool fire/water show to christmas music! It was a great night in the city with great people!

So much fun being able to capture pictures of my uncles family there kids were tough it was freezing cold and they just stuck it out with a smile on there face.

 

 

Halloween

Yes I know it's almost Christmas and I'm just blogging about Halloween...my Halloween was great starting out with dressing up for cosmetology and just goofing off all day there.  Brandie rocked the gorilla costume scaring all our instructors and making one pee a little chasing people into the DMV and to there cars lots of great laughs wish I had pictures of it but I got to school with a camera but no memory card.  Later that day I was able to go take pictures of my cute little cousin bentlee then I headed to help with the youth council trunk or treat... after this is where everything with my day went from happy emotions to scared, upset, thankful, and tearing myself down.  Me and Dixon were headed out to east garland to meet the rest of my family out to my grandmas when right down the hill from the the sugar factory one of my tires caught gravel starting to spin us and my first instinct was it caught me off guard and caused me to react by jerking the steering wheel 3 or 4 times over correcting almost going off the road into the marshes/river area or head on with a big diesel truck.  This is the moment where I don't know why but I am truly thankful that I just knew I need to relax and someone else took over for me and was my guardian angel getting me back in control of my car.  I had a major adrenaline rush and was able to just keep on driving to my grandmas house where I could talk to my parents about what had just happend.  I don't think I have ever been so nervous and shaking in my life worried that I had lost the trust of my brother and my parents.  It was totally opposite my parents told me they were proud of me for getting us out safely.  Me and my brother were luckily not hurt I just had a bad head ache and sore neck and back mostly from just the stress I put myself through.  I was scared to death to drive any where and especially scared to drive in the area of the accident.  I would constantly have flashback images in my head of what happend.  But I know going to timeout for women that one of the talks was meant for me to hear and reminding me that we were ok and I just had to let it go.  One scriptures that stuck with me through all of this was Isaiah 41:10 Fear not for I am with you I am your god I will strengthen you I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  I truely witnessed this with my own eyes and thankful for my guardian angels watching over me at all times and knowing that hevanly father in always there or with me whenever I need him.<3

Preg Checking At The Sorensen Farm

Well we did our annual preg check down at the farm...You know your a country girl when this is an event you look forward too...Especially this year this is my first time back in 2 years... 2 years ago I had emergency surgery to remove my appendix and wasn't able to go and last year slipped on ice at carlie and ikes house hitting hard down on cement stairs and bruising my kidneys and on bed rest for a day making it impossible for me to go so this year I was so ready to go help and enjoyed it.  I stole this from carlies post about this but I got a good laugh out of it so i'm reposting it to mine...We had a couple cows who got right on the fun, some that waited a little longer to get to know their baby calf daddy, and some that didn't get to know him at all (sad day for those cows).  It was a good success and went by pretty quick. always fun time getting together as a family preg checking keeping the farm going so we will always have a little piece of grandpa lynn to spend time creating memories at. 

 

 

Girls Choice

First I had to ask....

Then I waited and got the answer....Yes that is an alarm clock that was snuck into my backpack and went off during class took me awhile to realize the noise was in my backpack I thought it was someone else in class...not to mention I was just a LITTLE embarrassed

Then the day came November 3, 2012...
Girls choice was my first "official" date and it was a blast...We went to logan and went to dinner at bluebird... let's just say it was delicious besides our awkward table in the middle of everyone ha and strange waitress and seeing the the broken candy sticks for 10 cents who wants to buy one pretty sketchy ha.  After dinner we headed to the USU hockey game we had a blast we got there a little early and so there were lots of little hockey players messing around and doing some pretty funny things like belly slides across the ice.  Some random guy with a comb over and smily face in hair randomly walked up to me and waved then left brent chelsea and kaeman all told me they think he liked me ha because at halftime he went out to move the goal for the zamboni and stood there facing us trying to pull poses good memories... and now that I've been I can now say that hockey is one of my new favorite sports to watch and can't wait to go again.  We then went on a quick starbucks trip for hot chocolate after freezing in the hockey rink then headed back to town for the dance we danced for about 30 minutes and then waited in line for pictures for another 30 minutes then ended the night at my house watching a classic movie greese.  I had the best group ever even though it was just us 4 we still had a blast and made lots of fun memories.  Thanks Chelsea Kaeman and Brent.  Thanks to brent also for being a great date I had lots of fun all in all it made for a great saturday night!
