Preg Checking At The Sorensen Farm

Well we did our annual preg check down at the farm...You know your a country girl when this is an event you look forward too...Especially this year this is my first time back in 2 years... 2 years ago I had emergency surgery to remove my appendix and wasn't able to go and last year slipped on ice at carlie and ikes house hitting hard down on cement stairs and bruising my kidneys and on bed rest for a day making it impossible for me to go so this year I was so ready to go help and enjoyed it.  I stole this from carlies post about this but I got a good laugh out of it so i'm reposting it to mine...We had a couple cows who got right on the fun, some that waited a little longer to get to know their baby calf daddy, and some that didn't get to know him at all (sad day for those cows).  It was a good success and went by pretty quick. always fun time getting together as a family preg checking keeping the farm going so we will always have a little piece of grandpa lynn to spend time creating memories at. 

 

 

Girls Choice

First I had to ask....

Then I waited and got the answer....Yes that is an alarm clock that was snuck into my backpack and went off during class took me awhile to realize the noise was in my backpack I thought it was someone else in class...not to mention I was just a LITTLE embarrassed

Then the day came November 3, 2012...
Girls choice was my first "official" date and it was a blast...We went to logan and went to dinner at bluebird... let's just say it was delicious besides our awkward table in the middle of everyone ha and strange waitress and seeing the the broken candy sticks for 10 cents who wants to buy one pretty sketchy ha.  After dinner we headed to the USU hockey game we had a blast we got there a little early and so there were lots of little hockey players messing around and doing some pretty funny things like belly slides across the ice.  Some random guy with a comb over and smily face in hair randomly walked up to me and waved then left brent chelsea and kaeman all told me they think he liked me ha because at halftime he went out to move the goal for the zamboni and stood there facing us trying to pull poses good memories... and now that I've been I can now say that hockey is one of my new favorite sports to watch and can't wait to go again.  We then went on a quick starbucks trip for hot chocolate after freezing in the hockey rink then headed back to town for the dance we danced for about 30 minutes and then waited in line for pictures for another 30 minutes then ended the night at my house watching a classic movie greese.  I had the best group ever even though it was just us 4 we still had a blast and made lots of fun memories.  Thanks Chelsea Kaeman and Brent.  Thanks to brent also for being a great date I had lots of fun all in all it made for a great saturday night!

 

Room Makeover

I am way slow about updatng this post but I did a whole makeover on my room and proud to say everything I decorated with we already had might have took a little painting or dusting off but I was pretty happy with the overall look it brings!!

Not So Little Wytten

This boy is not so little anymore.... Carlie asked me to take his pictures again and I loved every minute of it.  He is the cutest little boy not that i'm bias or anything.  I am so glad I can call him my nephew and thankful that carlie and ike let me be a part of his life<3

 

 

 

 

Fall Break Fun

A week ago we were able to have a 5 day weekend and it was great.  Wednesday we had an all day practice for hi-steppers working with one of our choreographers Ciara tweaking a few things in our kick routine that didn't work and made our dance better!!! After practice as a team we went over to my Sisters house/coach for lunch her and my mom had made soup and breadsticks and the hit of the party carlies delicious better then sex pumpkin cake.  That night we performed our hip-hop that we learned at basic dance training fireball for the last home football game that was a success even though we froze.  Thurday my mom took me shopping all day and got me some fun new fall/winter clothes, shoes, and accesories.  That night as a family we met up in logan at the famous blue bird restaurant.  This is a family favorite we never have to worry about someone not liking it.  Friday I was able to spend the morning with my grandma coloring her hair for her (this was my first time ever coloring someones hair) She was brave and trusted me and it turned out great.  I wish I could have got pictures those moments that you always say wish I could have got a before and after picture but I guess that's what you get for forgetting to put your memory card in your camera.  After that my grandma treated me to a fun lunch date to siagon towers a favorite.  Saturday my grandma asked me to go to logan with her to buy some hair products since I can get the professional products.  So we went and stocked her and valyn up on all their product then ran a few other arens and stopped for lunch at paradise bakery.  Once we got home we headed down to meet the rest of the family down at the farm for a clean up day and trying to find the water leak we had down there.  Sunday we ended the break with a good primary program that dixon participated in and family dinner at grandmas.  I think this years fall break was a success even though we didn't go anywhere extreme like some do we always can find a way to have fun even spending a day at the farm:)

Boys of fall coming to an end

Dixons football team played their last game of the season and lost a heartbreaker.  They are a great football team and play so hard but when you play a tough team and get no good calls its hard to win it even if you play your heart out.  It could have been a whole different ball game on a different field with different referees.  I could have went out there and probably done a better job then all 4 of them.  It also is tough when the referees are suppose to be neutral from a different area but at halftime they are sitting in the other teams crowd talking to parents like they are best friends.  Way to go bears way to be tough and make it to the second round of playoffs this year!!
